Mr. Cabrera has over 25 years of international experience in IT development, technology business management, and entrepreneurship. Mr. Cabrera first began developing commercial software when he was 12 years old. He created a database for his first client, the Mendoza, Argentina’s local gelato industry, a group of businesses that served a population of over 1,000,000 residents.
While attending high school, he represented his country in the Informatics Olympiads. At that time he started a software company, Solver Soft S.R.L., which developed accounting and bookkeeping software that adapted to the rapidly changing economy and tax laws of Argentina.
Mr. Cabrera holds a B.S. and M.S in computer science from Universidad de Mendoza, where he graduated with honors. His thesis included novel software and hardware for real-time data acquisition and processing. Upon graduation, he co-founded a new software venture that developed software and corresponding systems to enable real-time tracking of assets for a John Deere equipment retailer for a major South American agricultural region and a point of sale systems for a multinational chocolate and candy factory serving a population of over 100 million.
After extensive traveling and consulting in South America and Europe, Mr. Cabrera became Chief Systems Architect at a large privately owned commercial printer in New York. While at Tanagraphics Inc, Mr. Cabrera’s innovations lead to the creation of a wildly successful content management system, CMS, which was critical in retaining and expanding printing customers during the transition to electronic-only communications. As IT Director of Tanagraphics Inc, Mr. Cabrera oversaw and implemented the combined workflow and technologies of both Tanagraphics Inc and Seybert Nicholas Inc. Upon their merger in 2004, TanaSeybert LLC became the largest privately-owned commercial printer in Manhattan and Mr. Cabrera became their CTO. While at TanaSeybert, continuous innovation and application of current technologies enabled Mr. Cabrera’s team to serve diverse clients such as: Bayer, Goya Foods, King Pharmaceuticals, Antigenics, Genentech, Revlon, Mercedes-Benz, NY & Co., Lord Abbett, JP Morgan Chase, Lehman Brothers, Old Lane, MasterCard, AXA, Oppenheimer, Town Sports International, Canon, Hearst, South Street Seaport Museum, City Parks Foundation, Hunter Douglas, Benjamin Moore, Infinity Radio Stations among others.

At Unimac Interactive, Mr. Cabrera developed specialized distribution, compliance, and tracking mechanisms that enabled many Fortune 500 clients to track report and distribute printed and digital assets. In 2012, Mr. Cabrera sold the business to Unimac Graphics. He then began his emerging technologies venture, Wellgate Technologies LLC. Mr. Cabrera developed automated testing systems to perform penetration testing and vulnerabilities reports, responsive web-app engines, large scale distributed databases and large scale distributed processing points employing cloud computing platforms and providers.
